Suicide Prevention Community Conversation

Stella Ambler, MP will be hosting a conversation for interested community
members, leaders, associations and stakeholders such as local experts,
service providers, healthcare providers, local police, teachers, and social
workers and to discuss suicide prevention in our community.

This meeting is part of the 308 Conversations initiative launched by the
Mental Health Commission of Canada, and is designed to gather valuable
insight and ideas surrounding suicide prevention across Canada. The goal is
to share the best ideas and work together to create lasting solutions that
will serve our communities. 308 Conversations will provide Canadians with
information on the actions and initiatives taking place in their own
neighbourhoods.

The conversation allows our community to share what’s working, where the
gaps are when it comes to suicide prevention and strategize what each of us
can do to make a difference.

The Mental Health Commission will gather the results to produce a working
model with tools and solutions that can be shared as a resource for
communities across Canada.
