“LET’S GIVE WHITEOAKS PARK A BIG HUG”

It’s time for the 3rd annual

“LET’S GIVE WHITEOAKS PARK A BIG HUG”

spring clean-up event!

2:00pm, Saturday, May 12th, 2012 in Whiteoaks Park

COME JOIN US AND BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY FOR A FUN AFTERNOON!

We will work together to keep our park looking great by pulling out garlic mustard plants, planting young trees and picking up litter.   Last year we removed over 50 bags of Garlic Mustard and litter from the park…this year we aim for double that!!

Bring gloves, good footwear and dress for the weather.  We will split up into small groups and attack the invasive species in the park and remove litter.  Then, with the City of Mississauga Parks and Forestry Division we will plant trees in a selected area of the park.  We will be finished by 5pm.

MEET AT WHITEOAKS PARK BESIDE THE TENNIS COURTS!
